The Gators advance to the NCAA Semifinals vs. the Tennessee/Virginia Commonwealth winner on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Taube Tennis Center ... This is Florida's eighth consecutive trip to the NCAA Semifinals, and 15th in the last 16 years ... Florida has lost just one point in its four NCAA Championship victories this season ... The Demon Deacons finish the season with a school record tying 24 victories ... Wake Forst was making its third NCAA Quarterfinal appearance in the last five years.

Wake Forest Head Coach Brian Fleishman -

"This is the second time we played Florida this season (Florida 6-1, March 23 @ Wake Forest), and this was definitely a big improvement over the first match. Florida has those national championships under its belt, and used them against us today. We loe two seniors from this team, but have some girls back next year who will bring us success in the future. Overall, this was a successful year."

Florida Head Coach Roland Thornqvist -

"We played really smart toward the end of the match. We kept our calm in the tiebreaker and put the ball where it needed to be. All year we've talked about keeping our cool under pressure and they did a fantastic job today. I thought that was the difference."
