Senior Myles Bradley of Stanford men's track and field was selected as the Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for May 25-31, 2009.

Bradley was selected after capturing the NCAA West Regional title in the 110-meter hurdles. Bradley will advance to the NCAA Championships in the event for the second straight year. The Stanford senior ran a time of 13.53 seconds, which was fast enough to be the school record, but will not count because it was wind-aided. Bradley is already the school record holder in the event with a time of 13.61. The time was also the sixth fastest in the nation this year.

Bradley earned the first All-America honor of his career during the 2009 indoor season when he placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March. He also highlighted Stanford as they beat California in the Big Meet when he won three events. Bradley captured the 110-meter hurdles, the long jump and the triple jump to score 15 team points for the Cardinal.

Bradley will complete his season at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. from June 10-13.

This is the first Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor for Bradley.

Also nominated: Kelly McKenna (sailing), Michaela Wallerstedt (women's track and field), Steve Ziegler (men's golf)
