Tyler Gaffney Named Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

STANFORD, Calif.-- Channeling Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson for two games, Stanford baseball player Tyler Gaffney was named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week following a .500 average at the NCAA Regional in Fullerton to close out the 2009-10 season for the athletics department award.
Gaffney led off both the game against New Mexico and the season finale against CS Fullerton with leadoff homers, producing three hits against the Lobos and another two hits against the Titans. Gaffney finished the season as an honorable mention All-Pac-10 pick, batting .328 with 42 runs and 24 RBIs.
