Hilary Barte Named Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

Junior Hilary Barte (Chatsworth, Calif.) of the Stanford women?™s tennisteam was selected as the Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for May 17-23.
This is the second honor of Barte?™s career, as she also receivedrecognition in May of 2009.
Barte led Stanford to a pair of NCAA Tournament victories during theweekend, as the Cardinal blanked Clemson 4-0 in the round of 16 beforeupsetting No. 1 Baylor 4-2 in the quarterfinals.
Barte provided the clincher against Baylor, knocking off Lenka Broosova7-5, 7-5 at the No. 1 spot of the lineup. She teamed with LindsayBurdette in doubles for a victory at the No. 1 spot in that same match,helping Stanford claim the doubles point against Baylor.
