Senior forward Kelley O'Hara (Fayetteville, Ga./Starr's Mill High School) of the No. 4 Stanford women's soccer team was selected as the Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of August 24-30.

O'Hara scored two goals in a 2-1 victory at Cal Poly on Friday and had the go-ahead goal and an assist in the Cardinal's 5-2 victory over visiting San Diego State on Sunday.

O'Hara has scored in all three matches this season and leads Stanford in goals (5) and points (11). Against Cal Poly, O'Hara's goals came within a span of 5:05 and included a perfectly-placed shot to the upper corner set up by a swift cutback move.

Her goal against San Diego State came as the Cardinal mounted a five-goal comeback after falling behind 2-0. Her unassisted 20-yarder in the 64th minute was the go-ahead score.

This is O'Hara's second Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor and the first for the women's soccer team in the 2009 season. O'Hara and the Cardinal currently are 3-0 overall heading into this weekend's UNC-Greensboro Spartan Classic in Greensboro, N.C.

Also nominated: Camille Gandhi (Field Hockey), Cassidy Lichtman (Women's Volleyball).
