As a Senior in 2006:
As a Junior in 2005: Started all 97 games for the Cardinal at Middle Blocker ... Recorded 239 kills, ranking fourth on the team ... Averaged 2.46 kills per game ... Hit .386 for the season, ranking second on the team ... Registered 77 blocks (16 solo, 61 assists), ranking second on the team ... Averaged .79 blocks per game ... Also had a .943 serving percentage ... Selected to the MPSF All-Academic team.
As a Sophomore in 2004: In his second season as a starter, Ahlfeldt demonstrated his athletic ability and solidified himself as a durable player at middle blocker, playing in every game during the 2004 season... Led the team with 102 games played... Finished the season ranked third in attacking percentage (.294)...Registered 79 blocks (13 solo, 66 assists) to place second on the team...His best all-around game came against UCLA where he scored 14 kills, hitting .500 along with eight blocks... Named to the All-MPSF Scholar Athlete team.
As a Freshman in 2003: A significant contributor as a freshman in 2003 ... Played in 80 games, leading all freshman on the team in kills with 110 ... Averaged 1.38 kills per game ... Posted a .329 hitting percentage in 2003 ... Registered 40 digs on the season for a .50 digs per game average ... Finished the season second on the team in total blocks with 78 (5 solo, 73 block assists).
Fall of 2002: Recorded 13 kills in three matches at the Husky Dino Cup in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in October ... In the tournament gold medal match vs. Pacific, hit .438 with eight kills, two digs and two blocks.
High School: Member of two Mira Costa High School CIF Championship Teams (2001 & 2002) ... Also played for The LBC Club that won back-to-back Junior National Championships in 2001 & 2002 ... Two-time All-American ... Named to the All-CIF First-Team in 2002 ... In 1999, became the first freshman to ever make the Mira Costa boys varsity volleyball team ... Two-time winner of the Eric Fonoimoana Commitment Award (2001 and 2002).
Personal: An Energy Systems Engineering Major ... Son of Mary Pat and Ron Ahlfeldt ... His sister, Allison Ahlfeldt won a bronze medal with the USA sitting volleyball team at the 2004 Paralympic Games.
