Summer Ball: Solid summer in 2009 for Westhampton of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League as he was named by Baseball America as the seventh-best prospect out of the league, posting an 0.82 ERA over 22.0 innings over five games and three starts ... struck out 25 and walked just five ... had a sensational 2008 summer campaign with the Quakertown Blazers, and was honored by Baseball America as the fifth-best prospect in the Atlantic Collegiate League ... went 2-0 with a 2.42 ERA in six games (four starts), with 25 strikeouts against only six walks in 26.0 innings of work.
