As a Junior in 2005: Starting Opposite player ... Had a strong junior campaign, leading the Cardinal in several offensive categories ... Led the team with 330 kills ... Led the team with 3.79 kills per game ... Also ranked number one on the team with 26 service aces ... Led the team with .30 service aces per game ... Fourth on the team with 135 digs ... Selected to the MPSF All-Academic team.
As a Sophomore in 2004: Improved offensively to give the team another scoring weapon... Appeared in 72 games...Scored 215 kills, ranking him third on the team... His 2.99 kills per game average ranked second... Posted a career high 23 kills at UCSD, hitting .421... Enjoyed his best all-around match versus UCSB with 20 kills, three service aces, four digs and 3 blocks... Named to the All-MPSF Scholar Athlete team.
As a Freshman in 2003: Appeared in 10 matches, playing in 16 games ... Registered 27 kills on the year, averaging 1.69 kills per game. His 1.69 kills per game average ranked seventh on the team ... Finished the season with a .327 hitting percentage ... Enjoyed his best all-around game in the Cardinal's win over Pacific, setting career-highs in kills (8), total attempts (11), digs (5), and blocks (2), while posting a .545 hitting percentage for the game.
Fall of 2002: Hit .500 with eight kills, three digs and two blocks vs. Pacific in the gold medal match of the Husky Dino Cup in October ... In preliminary round action, recorded eight digs, three blocks, two service aces and two kills against the University of Calgary.
