National Competition: Will be among 21 members of the United States team that will compete at the 2007 FINA World Championships (March 25-April 1) in Melbourne, Australia and at the Dual in the Pool meet against Australia (April 3, 2007) ... Will compete in the 50 free and as part of the 4 x 100 free relay team ... One of 15 United States swimmers who are members of the 2006-07 National "A" team ... This team consists of swimmers who have met the Top-8 world rankings in all Olympic events ... Finished second in the 50 meter free and fourth in the 100 meter free at the 2006 USA Swimming National Championship ... Competed in the 50 and 100 meter free, and the 100 meter fly at the 2006 Pan Pacific Championships ... Competed on the United States team at the 2005 World Championships ... 2005-06 Season (Junior): Gained six All-American honors (second place in the 50 free and 100 free, third place in swimming the anchor leg on the 400 medley relay, fifth in swimming the second leg on the 400 free relay, sixth in swimming the second leg on the 200 free relay, 11th in in the 100 fly) at the NCAA championships, and won the Pac-10 titles in the 50 and 100 free, and swam the second leg on the winning 200 free relay team ... Set the school record in the 100 free (42.17) at the NCAA Championship ... Co-winner of the Block "S" Outstanding Male Junior Award, presented to the most outstanding male Stanford athlete in the junior class.
2004-05 Season (Sophomore): Enjoyed an outstanding season in helping Stanford win the Pac-10 title, and a second place finish at the NCAA's ... Set school records in the 50 free (19.15, leadoff leg on the 200 free relay at the NCAA's) and 100 free (42.57)... Also helped Stanford set new school records in the 200 yard medley relay (1:24.82) and 400 yard medley relays (3:06.45)... A six-time All-American (three individual, three relays) ... Swam the anchor leg on Stanford's winning NCAA 400 yard medley relay (3:06.78, pool record time) team ... Finished third in the 50 free (19.27) and fourth in the 100 free (42.57, school record) at the NCAA's ... His time of 46.65 in the 100 yard butterfly at the NCAA's is eighth-best in school history ... Placed second in the consolation final (10th overall) in the 100 fly ... Finished 21st at NCAA's in the 50 free (22.25) and placed 17th in the 100 freestyle (48.71) on the final day of competition ... Placed eighth at Pac-10's in the 100 yard freestyle (44.35) ... Swam the lead-off leg of Cardinal's 400 yard free relay team that took third at Pac-10's in a time of 2:53.62 ... Tied for seventh in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:38.57 at the conference championship and finished tenth in the 50 yard free (19.94) ... Swam the lead-off leg of Stanford's 200 yard free relay squad that placed second at Pac-10s in 1:17.60.
