National Competition: Competed in the 2008 U.S. Olympic trials from Omaha, Neb. in the 100 and 200 breast.

2007-08 Season (Junior): Recorded the seventh-fastest time for Stanford in the 200 breast with a time of 2:04.07...also had the eighth-fastest time on the team in the 100 breast with a time of 57.25.

2006-07 Season (Sophomore): Competed in the 100 fly (49.96), 100 breast (55.93), and 200 IM (1:52.85) at the Pac-10 Championships.2005-06 Season (Freshman): Competed in the 100 breast (55.44), the 200 breast (2:01.00), the 100 fly (49.65) and the 200 IM (1:53.39) at the Pac-10 championships.

High School: Gained several All-America honors during his junior and senior seasons at Garfield High School...finished second in the 200 IM and 100 fly at the Washington state championships in 2005...team MVP, team captain and scholar-athlete...the school- record holder in the 100 fly, 200 IM and the 50 free.
