At Stanford: Has earned a letter in each of his first three seasons at Stanford, including his true freshman season in 1998 ... Coaches' Comments: "Brian is the crafty, senior, veteran who plays the game well. I expect him to be in our nickel and dime situations. There is a lot of learning that goes on in these packages because of the different alignments by the opponent. It takes a real smart, seasoned player who I have confidence in to play this position. And Brian is just that."- secondary coach Denny Schuler
