What is your favorite class taken at Stanford?ME 101 - Visual Thinking

What do you like most about the academic environment at Stanford?The broad range of interests and opinions generates an intense and persistent learning environment. The genius of fellow students, the brilliance of faculty members, and the diversity of campus events is amazing. Unique academic opportunities ranging from Summer Research College and Overseas programs to Freshman/Sophomore seminars and guest speakers, all contribute to the exceptional academic environment.

What do you see yourself doing in 40 years?Enjoying my family and the end of a fulfilling career, while finalizing my retirement plans.

What would be your ideal career?It would involve design, large projects, and great co-workers. I think I could be happy doing a variety of jobs.

What is your quirkiest study habit?I generally require coffee. I refuse to do problem sets on anything except green graph paper.

What is your best "get rich quick" plan?Stay friends with Shelly
