2005-06 Season (Senior): Started in all 30 games for the Cardinal ... Averaged 14.0 points and led the team with a .901 free throw shooting percentage ... First-team Pac-10 All-Conference honoree ... Became the 34th player in school history to reach 1,000 points for his career ending with 1,265 ... First-team Pac-10 All-Academic selection ... Led the squad with 35 steals on the year and 99 assists ... Scored a season-high 28 points twice during the year ... Knocked down a career-best seven three-pointers against Arizona (2/19) ... With 0.2 second left on the clock, senior Hernandez was fouled beyond the three-point line with Stanford trailing by three against Washington. The Fresno native stepped to the charity stripe and drained two of the three before the Huskies called a timeout. Hernandez then made the third free throw to send the game into overtime which the Cardinal won 76-67 ... The very next game, Hernandez hit a three-pointer with 11.3 second left on the clock to give Stanford the 57-56 win over Oregon. Saturday night, he scored a season-high 28 points to lead the Cardinal to a 71-64 win over Oregon State, after leading scorer Matt Haryasz left the game with an eye injury in the first half ... 2002-03 Season: A broken foot sidelined Chris for the 2002-03 season ... Projected as the team's starting point-guard, but broke a bone in his left foot during practice on Oct. 26 ... That pushed him out of action until the Dec. 14 game against St. Mary's when he collected three assists in six minutes of play ... But he then rebroke the bone in his left foot two nights later against Montana (12/16/02) ... Gained medical redshirt year.
2001-02 Season (Freshman): Named honorable mention All-Pac-10 freshman ... Named winner of the Roy Young Toughness Award ... One of Stanford's two reserve point-guards ... Appeared in 29 games with a season-high 23 minutes against Washington State (1/17/02) and Washington (2/14/02), 22 against Washington (1/19/02), 21 against Oregon (1/12/02) and USC (2/21/02) and 20 minutes against Oregon State (1/10/02) and Western Kentucky (3/14/02) ...
