As a Junior in 2004: Buell showcased his versatility ranking in the top two in offensive as well as defensive categories... Appeared in 99 games, ranking second on the team...Led the team in blocks with 87 (15 solo, 72 block assists) and blocks per game (0.88)...Finished the season ranked second on the team in both kills (249) and hitting percentage (.353)...Posted his best performance versus UC Irvine tallying 17 kills with an attacking percentage of .615 along with seven blocks.
As a Sophomore in 2003: Appeared in 49 games ... Finished the season ranked fifth on the team in both kills (127) and kills per game (2.59) ... Posted double-digit kills in four matches ... Enjoyed his best performance versus UC San Diego (2/15/03), recording career-highs in kills (16) and blocks (7), while registering a .636 attacking percentage ...
