As a Junior in 2004: Provided a large portion of Stanford's offensive production after making the transition from libero...Showed versatility by being a leader in offensive as well as defensive categories... Led the team in kills (289) and kills per game (3.04)... Posted his career high for kills with 20 versus Long Beach St... Ranked second on the team in digs (166) and digs per game (1.75)... As a Sophomore (2003): Appeared in 106 games ... Played primarily as the team's libero but also saw time at outside hitter ... Was named to the MPSF men's volleyball All-Academic team ... Led the team in digs with 234 ... His 2.21 digs per game average ranked first on the team and tied him for the 14th best average in the country ... His digs per game average also ranked as the 10th highest single-season average in program history ... Registered a career-high 19 digs in Stanford's 3-1 win at then-No. 8 Cal State Northridge ... Tallied 79 kills on the season ... Posted a career-high 10 kills in the Cardinal's 3-1 win over UC Santa Barbara.
Fall of 2002: In October at the Husky Dino Cup, recorded 26 digs in four matches, including 11 in the tournament gold medal match vs. Pacific.
As a Freshman (2002): Appeared in 40 games (19 matches) ... Finished the season with 36 digs (0.90 per game), two kills, two assists and two service aces ... Recorded career-high 20 digs vs. Hawaii (1/30) ... Notched one kill on one attempt at Pacific (1/15).
High School: Named the 2001 San Diego Volleyball Player of the Year by the San Diego Union-Tribune ... Also named the San Diego CIF Player of the Year, First-Team All-North County and First-Team All-Palomar League as a senior ... Two-time varsity boys volleyball MVP at Poway (2000 & 2001) ... Named the Northridge Tournament MVP in 2001 and was named all-tourney at the Francis Parker Tournament in 2000 ...
