International Competition: At the 2009 World University Games in Serbia, finished third in the "C" Final of the 50 freestyle... at the world championship trials in Indianapolis, was eighth in the "B" Finals of the 100 freestyle (49.99)... competed in the 100 free at the 2008 U.S. Olympic trials in Omaha.
2010-11 (Senior): Finished off his career as a five-time All-American, earning a spot in the top-16 in the 100 free by winning the consolation finals (42.32) and by finishing 13th in the 200 free with a a time of 1:34.93 for the third place Cardinal... part of NCAA champion 200 free relay team, which twice broke the American record and finished with a time of 1:15.86... also an All-American for fourth place 800 free relay and the consolation champion 400 free relay team.... ranked fourth nationally in the 50 free, 13th in the 100 free and 19th in the 200 free... Pac-10 runner-up in the 200 free, 400 free relay and 200 free relay and sixth in the 100 and 50 free for the Pac-10 Champions for its 30th-straight title... won the 200 and 100 frees in the dual season over CS Bakersfield... part of winning 200 free relay team in the fall, setting a meet record at 1:18.80.
2009-2010 Season (Junior): Earned All-American honors as part of the third-place 400 freestyle relay and fourth-place 200 freestyle relay...part of the Pac-10 Champions 200 freestyle relay...placed eighth in the 100 freestyle and 11th in the 50 freestyle at the Pac-10s.
2008-09 Season (Sophomore): Named an All-American in the 200 freestyle and for the 800 freestyle relay... also a part of the winning Pac-10 Champion 400 relay team... posted the NCAA's 22nd-fastest 50 freestyle (19.45) and 200 freestyle time (1:34.18) and 12th-fastest 100 freestyle time (42.45) during the season.
2007-08 Season (Freshman): Finished 13th at the Pac-10 championships when he swam a season-best time of 44.13 in the 100 free...also placed 20th in the 50 free and 23rd in the 100 fly.
High School: San Joaquin Section record-holder in both the 50 and 100 freestyle...three-year MVP...2007 All-Sacramento metro area swimmer of the year...team captain as a senior.
Personal: Majoring in human biology...parents are James and Wendy Allen...has two brothers, Trevor and Wade.
