Stanford's field hockey team will be fun to watch this year because: we have a great combination of young talent and an experienced core.

My primary inspiration in sports is: knowing how lucky I am to be healthy and able to compete.

The thing I love about field hockey is: the intricacy of the game and the ability to constantly learn and implement new skills.

Favorite sport other than field hockey: skiing

My greatest athletic moment was: winning the state soccer title for the first time in my high school's history during my senior year.

The biggest thrill in my life to date is: getting into Stanford.

What makes Stanford University so special: the people and the weather.

Since coming to Stanford I have learned: the feasibility and importance of maintaining a balance between working hard and playing hard.

Favorite Food: Ben and Jerry's half baked carmel cone

Least Favorite Food: anything with mayo in it.

If I had to cook all of my meals, I'd probably survive on: frozen veggie burgers

Favorite midnight snack: Life cereal and soy milk

My favorite TV show: Grey's Anatomy

After my Stanford career is over, I'd like to be remembered as: a hard worker and supportive teammate.

My parents were right when they told me: that a strong work ethic will take you places.

What people don't know about me: As soon as I graduate I intend to buy a pug and accessorize it with brightly colored clothing.

Hobbies: skiing, hiking, biking

Ten years from now I hope to be: working in Washington D.C. with a pug, a yellow lab, and perhaps a husband.

What are you most thankful for in life: the love and support from my parents and sister.
