As a Sophomore in 2007: Batted .276 (16-for-58) with four doubles, a career-high two home runs, 10 RBI and a stolen base over 30 games played (nine starts)...added 16 runs scored and was perfect in his 17 defensive chances...delivered a two-run, pinch-hit double in his first career at-bat, February 4 at Cal State Fullerton...belted his first career home run and had three RBI February 23 against Kansas, before picking up his first career stolen base against the Jayhawks two days later...had his first career multi-hit game March 31 against UCLA, going 2-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI...was consistent with a .276 batting average (8-for-29) in 14 Pac-10 games (two starts), adding a homer and four RBI in conference play.

High School: Graduated in 2005 from Detroit (Mich.) Country Day School...was named to the 2005 All-Michigan Dream Team by the Detroit Free Press...twice selected to the All-Area Team (2003 and 2005)...posted a .450 prep career batting average, with 14 home runs...graduated cum laude...coached by Frank Orlando.
