Kate Horowitz on being at Stanford: "I truly believe that the non-stop sunshine is what somehow fuels the passion that everyone brings to Stanford. I know, it sounds silly, and kind of superficial, but the sunshine really is what makes our school different from the other elite universities. It just has something to do with the atmosphere- there is always something going on, academically, socially, and athletically. I truly believe that the non-stop sunshine is what somehow fuels the passion everyone brings to Stanford. Because of this passion Stanford has built this amazing tradition of innovation and success, and it is really an honor to be a part of it."
