MLB Draft: Drafted in the 30th Round of the 2010 Draft by the Houston Astros.
Summer Ball: Named the seventh-best prospect by Baseball America in the Alaska Summer League in 2009 after playing for the Anchorage Bucs, batting .295 over 39 starts with a team-high 26 RBIs and 24 runs, to go along with seven doubles, two triples and a homer ... also stole nine of 11 bases.
Stanford Career: Former first team All-Pac-10 selection after solid sophomore season... hitting .294 over 70 career games with 41 runs and 49 RBIs... hit nine of his 10 home runs in 2009... member of the 2008 CWS team, making the postseason, but did not play in a game... former two sport athlete, played on the football team as a freshman.

High School: 2007 graduate of Auburn (Wash.)
