NFL Hopefuls Eye This Week's Draft

David Shaw Rejoins NFL Network as Guest Analyst

AT STANFORD: Third year in the Stanford program after spending the 2006 and '07 seasons at Notre Dame... should be a factor at the tight end position where he will work with Coby Fleener, Levine Toiloli and Zach Ertz....spent part of the 2007-08 academic year at Saddleback College but did not play football...very good athlete who didn't take up football until his sophomore year at Mission Viejo High School...physically gifted player who has excellent size and ball skills for the position.

2009 (JUNIOR):
Appeared in 13 games and made three starts (Washington, UCLA and Arizona)...caught six passes for 142 yards...his 23.7 yards-per-catch average was the highest among all Stanford receivers...caught one pass against Washington State, Oregon State, Arizona State, California and had two receptions for 58 yards at Arizona.

2008:
Did not see action...sat out the first four games of the season to satisfy NCAA transfer rules and became eligible for the Washington game on Sept. 27.

2007 AT NOTRE DAME (SOPHOMORE):
Played in three games for the Irish.

2006 AT NOTRE DAME (FRESHMAN):
Played in seven games a true freshman.
