As a Junior in 1999-2000: Posted her third consecutive outstanding collegiate season, earning seven All-American honors for the third consecutive year ... Finished second at the NCAA's in both the 100m fly (58.60) and the 200m fly (2:06.55), while finishing ninth in the 200m back (2:08.72) ... Swam on four of the Cardinal's five relay teams at the NCAA Championships ... Swam the second leg (55.68) on the 400m free relay team (3rd, 3:39.77), the second leg (2:01.35) on the 800m free relay team (7:55.51), the third leg (26.49) on the 200m medley relay team (2nd, 1:50.15) and the third leg (57.48) on the 400m medley relay team (4th, 4:02.23, 4:01.76 trials) ... Nearly missed capturing three Pac-10 individual championships, finishing second in the 100 fly (53.74, 53.02 prelims), as well as third in the 200 back (1:56.70) and 200 fly (1:56.93) at the Pac-10 Championships ... Also a member of the second-place 200 medley relay team (1:40.95), swimming the third leg in 24.63 ... As a Sophomore in 1998-1999: NCAA champion in the 100 fly (51.77) for the second consecutive year ... Also led Stanford to NCAA titles in the 800 free relay (1:45.40 lead-off), 200 medley relay (23.08 fly split) and 400 medley relay (52.15 fly split) ... The 200 medley relay broke the American record and the 400 medley relay broke the U.S. Open record ... A seven-time All-American for the second straight year ... Finished second in the 200 fly (1:53.60), missing Summer Sanders' school record by .18 seconds ... Also the NCAA runner-up in the 200 back (1:54.10) and a member of the runner-up 200 free relay team (22.52 split) ... Two-time Pac-10 champion in leading the Cardinal to the team title ... As a Freshman in 1997-1998: Won the Honda Award as top women's swimmer in the country ... Won all the fly events she entered all season long (four 100 and four 200 events) ... Won NCAA titles in the 200 back (53.12, second-fastest time in NCAA history), 100 fly (51.34), 200 fly (1:55.70), and was also a part of the 200 and 400 medley relay teams that won national crowns ... Set an NCAA record en route to the 100 fly title ... Named NCAA Swimmer of the Year and Pac-10 Conference Swimmer of the Year ... Seven-time champion at Pac-10s, winning three individual and four relay events ...
