National Competition: Competed in the 200 IM, the 400 IM and the 200 fly at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb...earned a 17th-place finish at the 2007 summer nationals in the 400 IM...captured first in the 400 IM at the Janet Evans Invitational...competed in the 400 IM as a member of the U.S. junior national team at the 2004 Queensland Championship...competed in the 400 IM, the 200 back and the 200 fly at the 2006 USA national championships.

2007-08 Season (Junior): Placed sixth in the 400 IM (3:50.82), 12th in the 200 fly (1:47.97), and 15th in the 200 IM (1:48.84) at the 2008 Pac-10 Championships to help Stanford to a 27th consecutive title.

2006-07 Season (Sophomore): Earned an 11th-place finish in the 200 IM and a ninth-place finish in the 400 IM at the Pac-10 championships.

2005-06 Season (Freshman): Competed in the 200 back and the 400 IM at the Pac-10 championships.

High School: A 13-time All-American at Campolindo High School...swam the 200 back (1:48.64) and the 400 IM (3:56.20)...coached by Ron Heidary ...a three-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American (2003-05)...won the league title eight times...made the all-league team all four years of high school...the Pacific Swimming 18 & Under Male Swimmer of the Year in 2004...the Pacific Swimming record holder (15-16 age group) in the 200 back (1:48.64)...swam for the Orinda Aquatics Club.
