Very physical player who has the strength and athletic ability to be a force for the Cardinal this season ... One of three fifth-year seniors on the Cardinal's defensive line (the other two are Austin Lee and Marcus Hoover).

The 2000 Season:Starting nose tackle the first four games of the year and five of the first six ... Did not play much the second half of the season due to injury ... Started games vs. Washington State, San Jose State, Texas, Arizona and Oregon State ... Registered 10 total tackles, including one for loss ... Had season-high three tackles at Notre Dame.

The 1999 Season: Received limited playing time due to a back injury which kept him out for the first six games of the year ... On the season, recovered two fumbles, had two total tackles and one tackle-for-loss ... Had one tackle-for-loss in Stanford's regular season finale vs. Notre Dame.

The 1998 Season: Played in all 11 games, and made two starts at nose tackle and one at defensive tackle ... For the season, accounted for 13 total tackles, including two tackles-for-loss and one quarterback sack ... He started games at Notre Dame and Oregon State ... Against the Irish, he had five unassisted tackles, two tackles-for-loss and one sack ... The following week vs. Oregon State, he accounted for six total tackles ... In High School: Played both offensive and defensive line for one of the top high school programs in the nation - De La Salle High School in nearby Concord ... Travis was named a Prep All-American by PrepStar, which also ranked him as the sixth best offensive lineman in the Pac-10 region ... As a senior, he was named First-Team All-State, All-City, All-League, All-East Bay and All-Bay Area as an offensive lineman ... He was selected the City Player of the Year, the co-Offensive Player of the Year in the East Bay and the North Coast Section Defensive Player of the Year ... De La Salle won three straight Division I state championships during his career, and did not lose a game during that stretch ... De La Salle won the mythical national championship in 1994 - Travis' sophomore year - finished the '95 season ranked fourth nationally and the '96 season ranked second ...
