The 1998 Season: Played in all 11 games, and made two starts at nose tackle and one at defensive tackle ... In High School: Played both offensive and defensive line for one of the top high school programs in the nation - De La Salle High School in nearby Concord ... Travis was named a Prep All-American by PrepStar, which also ranked him as the sixth best offensive lineman in the Pac-10 region ... As a senior, he was named First-Team All-State, All-City, All-League, All-East Bay and All-Bay Area as an offensive lineman ... He was selected the City Player of the Year, the co-Offensive Player of the Year in the East Bay and the North Coast Section Defensive Player of the Year ... De La Salle won three straight Division I state championships during his career, and did not lose a game during that stretch ... De La Salle won the mythical national championship in 1994 - Travis' sophomore year - finished the '95 season ranked fourth nationally and the '96 season ranked second ... As a junior, Travis played only offensive tackle, capturing First-Team All-City, All-League, All-County and All-East Bay honors ... Member of the National Honor Society.
