| Skip Face lettered for Stanford from 1958-60. A fine all-around athlete who was the leading hurdler on the 1959 track team, Face was one of the fastest players on the squad. Face finished the 1958 season as the Indians’ leading scorer with 29 points (three TDs, seven PAT’s and one field goal). In his junior year of 1960, Face was tied for second-leading scorer in the nation and was the top man in the Big 5. He scored 100 points with eleven touchdowns, three field goals, three two-point conversions, and 19 PAT’s. Shifty and difficult to tackle, Face again led the team in scoring in 1960. | |||||||||
