Part of the greatest swim teams in Stanford history, and maybe in NCAA history, the Cardinal won NCAA titles in 1992, 1993 and 1994 behind this All-American backstroker. Loveless was a three-time NCAA champion in the 100 back and added to her total with a 1993 title in the 200-yard variety. She was also a part of 15 Pac-10 titles and was a 19-time All-American. An 11-year member of the U.S. National Team (1989-96, 1998-2000), she won a gold medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics with the 4x100 medley relay team and a bronze in the 100 backstroke. She also earned a spot on USA Swimming's All-Century team in the 100 backstroke. She became head coach at Stanford in 2005-06, winning her first Pac-10 title in 2010 as the Cardinal finished second at the national championships.
