BERKELEY, Calif. -- Kate Starbird scored 18 points to lead five players in double figures as Stanford cruised to an 82-50 Pac-10 Conference victory over California.
Vanessa Nygaard had 17 points and Olympia Scott added 10 and nine rebounds for the Cardinal, who led by 22 points at halftime despite shooting just 37 percent from the field (14-for-38).
Stanford (28-1, 16-0 Pac-10) hit 50 percent (11-for-22) of its three-point attempts as Charmin Smith and Jamilia Wideman went 3-for-4 and 3-for-5 from beyond the arc, respectively.
Patrycja Czepiec had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Golden Bears (6-19, 2-14), who shot 35 percent (20-for-57) from the field, including 4-for-18 from three-point range. California also missed 15 of 21 free-throw attempts.
