Stanford Upset at Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. - Ortege Jenkins made his second career start a successful onewith four touchdwon passes and Arizona defeated a ranked teamfor the first time since 1994 with a 28-22 victory over anerror-prone number 17 Stanford.

Jenkins, who completed 18-of-34 attempts for 167 yards, hadtouchdown passes of nine, 11 and pair of 18 yarders for Arizona(3-3, 1-2 PAC 10), which won for the fifth straight time overStanford.

Jenkins, who started against San Diego State last Saturday, hasseven touchdown passes in two games for Arizona which earned itsfirst victory over a ranked opponent since the 1994 season.

Stanford (4-2, 2-1) shot itself in the foot continually onoffense, fumbling eight times, losing five of them. Cardinalquarterback Chad Hutchinson was also sacked six times.
