vs. Davidson - 4/18

At the end of a long weekend of traveling and on the heels of an intense game at Duke, we could have had a thousand excuses. Sore muscles, tired feet, and a fiery sun were all with us the Sunday we played Davidson. But, as a team we committed to one thing: Don't Let Down.

The game began and we came out strong. Throughout the whole first half we worked hard, hustling after ground balls, working body D, and firing shots in the back of their net. "Don't let down" we reminded each other. By the second half, we were up by nine goals, but the game was far from over. "Don't let down" we chanted again and again. More shots, more transition, and more opportunities to prove what we were made of.

When the final whistle blew our team was victorious. Not just because of the final score (although that was nice), but because of the heart we showed and the commitment we showed to our game plan. From the first whistle we were out there working hard, and never let down once.
