Stanford Beats Oregon, 4-0
EUGENE, Ore. - The Stanford women's soccer team defeated the Oregon Ducks Sunday by a score of 4-0.
The Cardinal got on the board in the 11th minute of the first half on a goal by Tracye Lawyer. Karin Brett increased Stanford's lead to 2-0 in the 43rd minute when she netted a corner pass in front of goal. Becky Livermore and Christy Stoffel added second-half goals for Stanford.
The Cardinal outshot the Ducks 16-1 and didn't allow Oregon a shot on goal in the second half.
