Tickets may be purchased by contacting the Stanford Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-STANFORD (1-800-782-6367) or online at GoStanford.com.

Once the tournament starts, tickets may be purchased at the Maples Pavilion ticket office, located at the Northwest corner of the arena. No complimentary tickets will be available for the tournament. All individuals must have a valid ticket or credential to enter the facility.

Session IV RecapThe 2006 Pac-10 Wrestling Championships came to a close tonight in Maples Pavilion, with Arizona State edging Cal Poly, 118-115.5. The Mustangs led the team standings by 1.5 points heading into the 197 pound match, but it was a head-to-head match up with Cal Poly's Matt Monteiro and Arizona State's Ryan Bader squaring off. Bader secured a three point decision to earn his third conference title and clinch the Sun Devil's second-straight Pac-10 team title. Arizona State is now tied with Oregon State, as both have won 16 Pac-10 team titles...(more)

Session III Recap... With seven wrestlers in the consolation round, Cal Poly passed Arizona State in the team standings heading into the final 10 bouts at the 2006 Pac-10 Wrestling Championships at Maples Pavilion on the campus of Stanford University. The Mustangs own a 1.5-point lead over ASU with only three championship wrestlers to the Sun Devils' five. Cal Poly has never won a Pac-10 team title, while Arizona State looks for its fourth in six years and 16th overall...(more)

Session II Recap... Halfway through the second session at the 2006 Pac-10 Wrestling Championships at Stanford University, it didn't seem like a good day to be No. 1. Top-seeded Josh Zupancic (149) was a scratch before the tournament and Joey Bracamonte lost to unseeded Robb Maxwell in the quarterfinals in the morning. Then in the evening session, three-straight No. 1's lost in the semifinals when fourth-seeded Tanner Gardner upset Jeremy Mendoza at 125 pounds, fifth-seeded Tommy Vargas upset Justin Pearch at 133 pounds, fourth-seeded Dave Roberts upset Kyle Larson at 141 pounds...(more)

Session I Recap... The first session of wrestling at the 2006 Pac-10 Wrestling Championships at Maples Pavilion on the Stanford University campus, saw most of the top seeds hold into the semifinals, with just one major upset. Behind a vociferous Cal Poly crowd, Robb Maxwell scored the biggest win of the day with a 19-7 win over top-seeded and 10th-ranked Joey Braccamonte of Oregon in the 165-pound quarterfinals. Braccamonte, the defending Pac-10 Champion, came into the match 19-1, while Maxwell, a sophomore and first-year starter for the Mustangs, owned a 15-12 record... (more)

2006 Pac-10 Tournament Seeds Announced ... Following the coaches' meeting, the seeds for the 2006 Pac-10 Wrestling Championships were announced. Arizona State and Oregon both earned three top seeds (ASU: Jeremy Mendoza - 125, Ryan Bader - 197, Cain Velasquez - HWT; Oregon: Justin Pearch - 133, Joey Braccamonte - 165, Shane Webster -174). Oregon State's brothers Kyle Larson (141) and Jeremy Larson (174) also earned top seeds, while Stanford's Josh Zupancic (149) and Boise State's Ben Cherrington (157) were also awarded top seeds... Programs/Brackets
Programs will be on sale for $3.00 to the general public inside Maples Pavilion. Thirteen complimentary programs will be provided to each team. Updated brackets will be available for $1.00 at all sessions.

Parking
No permit is required to park on the Stanford campus on Sunday or after 4 p.m. on Monday. During Session 3 (Monday at 11 a.m.), visitors can park in the Varsity Lot between Stanford Stadium and Sunken Diamond.

DIRECTIONS TO MAPLES PAVILION

From Highway 101 (North & South):

Take the Embarcadero Road exit west toward Stanford. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero turns into Galvez Street as it enters the university. Stay in the left lane and continue toward the center of campus. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Campus Drive.

Continue to the next stop sign, turn right into the parking lot. Maples Pavilion is across the street.

From Highway 280 (North & South):

Exit Sand Hill Road east toward Stanford. Continue east, turning right at the traffic light on Santa Cruz Avenue. Make an immediate left onto Junipero Serra Boulevard. Turn left at the second stoplight, Campus Drive East. Continue around Campus Drive East.

Proceed past the gas station and turn right into the Maples Parking lot after the police station, or proceed past Maples Pavilion and turn left into the parking lot at the stop sign.

From El Camino Real:

Turn onto campus off of El Camino Real at Galvez Street (across the street from Palo Alto High School). At the first stop sign, turn left onto Campus Drive.

Continue to the next stop sign, turn right into the parking lot. Maples Pavilion is across the street.
