Senior wide receiver Mark Bradford (Los Angeles, Calif.) of the Stanford football team was selected as the Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 1-7.

Bradford played a key role in Stanford's 24-23 upset victory at No. 2-ranked USC on Saturday evening, a result considered one of the greatest upsets in college football history. For his efforts, Bradford was also named the U.S. Bank Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Week.

Playing in his hometown, Bradford caught the game-winning touchdown pass from 10 yards out with 49 second remaining in the game. It was one of his five receptions for 87 yards (17.4) in the game.
