STANFORD, Calif.- No. 12 Stanford breezed past Oregon 7-0 on Saturday afternoon at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.
Stanford (13-3, 6-1 Pac-12) has won nine of its last 10 matches. Oregon (12-8, 1-7 Pac-12) has dropped four of its last five contests.
The Cardinal captured the doubles point before dominating singles play, surrendering four games or less in all 12 sets.
Leading 1-0, Stacey Tan was first off the court with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at the No. 3 spot.
Krista Hardebeck followed with a 6-3, 6-1 win at the No. 2 position, chalking up her team-leading 25th victory of the year.
The clincher came in the form of a 6-2, 6-2 triumph from Kristie Ahn, making her first career appearance at the No. 1 spot.
The back courts then did their part, highlighted by Natalie Dillon preserving the shutout with a 6-4, 6-3 victory on court five.
Tan and Dillon were honored in a Senior Day tribute prior to doubles. During their standout careers, Tan and Dillon have led Stanford to an 88-7 overall record, 2010 NCAA championship, 2011 NCAA runner-up finish, three NCAA Tournament appearances and three conference titles.
Stanford is back in action on Tuesday, April 9, hosting Hawai'i at 1:30 p.m.
