ALPHARETTA, Ga. – No. 9 Stanford moved up from eighth to seventh on the overall leaderboard through two rounds of the United States Collegiate Championship at The Golf Club of Georgia’s Lakeside Course. The Cardinal matched its opening-round even-par 288 with another even showing Saturday.

Cameron Wilson stands tied for third overall after following his opening 69 with a 71, going 2-under on the front nine for the second time in as many days.

Jim Liu matched Wilson's 71 as David Boote finished the day tied for 20th after his 74.

Georgia Tech’s Ollie Schniederjans shot a 3-under-par 69 and grabbed a 4-stroke lead in the medal race, but Oklahoma State posted a 7-under-par 281 and took a 1-shot lead over the second-ranked Yellow Jackets after 36 holes.

No. 17 UCLA is in third place at 3-under-par 573 and will play the final round with Tech and Oklahoma State. Wake Forest and No. 14 Virginia are tied for fourth place at 2-under 574, while Iowa (575) is in sixth.

Nine of the 15 teams in this weekend’s tournament are ranked among the nation’s top 25 teams, making this one of the strongest fields in college golf.
