ALL-AMERICAN [1]: 400 Individual medly -- 2009

Stanford Record Books: 200 IM (4th-1:44.45, 2009), 400 IM (7th-3:45.18, 2009)

International Competition: Competed in the 200 IM, 400 IM and 200 fly at the 2008 U.S. Olympic trials in Omaha, Neb.

2010-2011 (Senior): Competed in the fall.

2009-2010 Season (Junior): Placed eighth in the 200 IM and 400 IM at the Pac-10 Championships...placed second in the 200 IM at the Toshiba Classic with a time of 1:48.91 and fourth in the 200 butterfly.

2008-09 Season (Sophomore): Earned his first All-America honor as a part of the 400 individual medley relay team... had the NCAA's 17th-fastest 400 IM time during the season at 3:45.18 and 21st-best 200 IM time (1:44.45)... was sixth in the Pac-10 Championship 1650 freestyle (15:08.68)... had his best IM times at the NCAA's, swimming 1:44.45 in the 200 IM and 3:45.18 in the 400 IM.

2007-08 Season (Freshman): Placed seventh in the 200 IM with a time of 1:50.90 (1:47.90 in the prelims) at the 2008 Pac-10 Championships, helping Stanford to a 27th straight title...also placed sixth in the 1,650 free and 10th in the 400 IM at the Pac-10 Championships...NCAA provisional qualifier in the 200 IM, the 400 IM and the 1,650 free...second-fastest Stanford swimmer in the 400 IM during the 2007-08 season with a time of 3:51.74.

High School: The Peddie School record-holder in the 400 IM (3:55.93) as well as the LCM 200 and 400 IM.

Personal: Management science and engineering major with a minor in computer science...parents are Jack and Jane...has one brother, Adam, who plays high school baseball.
