STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford earned first-place finishes in two divisions this weekend to claim the Coed PCCSC Championship.
The Cardinal tallied a staggering 36 points, finishing ahead of Hawaii (73) and Santa Barbara (74).
Kieran Chung, Haley Kirk and Helena Scutt raced to a convincing first-place result in division-A, a field consisting of 12 teams, with 18 points. The trio earned eight victories and finished among the top three in all 12 of their races.
Antoine Screve, Hans Henken, McKenzie Wilson, Mary Vengelos and Scutt competed in division-B and also tallied 18 points to finish first. The group sailed to 12 top-five placements and eight victories.
The Cardinal will play host to the Team Race PCCSC Championship next weekend.
