Cardinal-White Scrimmage

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford held its annual Cardinal-White Scrimmage on Wednesday night, with senior Chasson Randle (African and African-American Studies) and junior Rosco Allen (science, technology and society) pacing the White team to a 41-27 victory at Maples Pavilion.

Randle poured in a game-high 18 points while Allen added 11 points and six rebounds as the White squad was 6-10 from three-point range and 11-17 from the foul line.

Fifth-year senior Stefan Nastic (psychology) led the Cardinal team with 14 points on 7-9 shooting. Anthony Brown (communication) added six points while freshman Michael Humphrey grabbed six boards.

Prior to the 20-minute scrimmage, Allen won the dunk contest, beating out sophomore Marcus Allen and Humphrey. Fellow rookie Dorian Pickens edged Randle in the three-point shootout.

Jerry Yang, co-founder and former CEO of Yahoo!, served as a guest coach of the White team and hosted a postgame Q&A session, sharing stories about his time as a Stanford student and experiences in Silicon Valley.
