Players Earn Academic Honors

STANFORD, Calif. -- Eight Stanford players were among those to make the IWLCA/Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll for women’s lacrosse.

The intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association honored players who have achieved at least junior status academically and had a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater through the 2014-15 academic year. Stanford tied Brown and Ohio State for the most representatives.

The Cardinal went 15-3 last season, winning the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation regular-season and tournament titles, and earned its fifth NCAA bid in six years.

Meredith Kalinowski: Sr., Science, technology, and society
Meg Lentz: Jr., Political science
Alexa Mullins: Jr., Human biology, Spanish
Rachel Ozer: Graduate Student, Mechanical engineering (master’s)
Hannah Smith: Jr., History
