STANFORD, Calif. – Fifth-year senior quarterback Kevin Hogan, who engineered Stanford’s 41-31 upset against sixth-ranked USC on Saturday night, has been named the Pac-12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced Monday.

Hogan, a science, technology and society major from McLean, Virginia, completed 18 of 23 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns and was not intercepted. He also rushed seven times for 28 yards.

Picked to the watch lists for the Walter Camp Football Foundation Player of the Year, Maxwell Award, Davey O’Brien Award, Manning Award and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, Hogan connected with nine different receivers, led the offense on scoring drives during seven possessions, and helped the Cardinal convert eight of 12 times on third down.

He is now 12-6 against opponents ranked in the AP top 25.
