The Stanford football team is heading to the postseason for a school-record seventh consecutive year. Stanford has clinched the Pac-12 North division and will play in the Pac-12 Football Championship Game (P12FCG) on December 5 at 4:45 p.m. PT at Levi’s Stadium.

This website is the hub for Stanford Football postseason information. There are several important details relevant to fans interested in purchasing tickets and attending the Pac-12 Football Championship Game and a subsequent bowl game through Stanford’s ticket allotment. Please refer to this page for all information about ticketing, FAQs, and important dates. Starting on Sunday, December 6, please refer to gostanford.com/bowlcentral for the most up to date information about Stanford's bowl game.

For those of you headed to the game, please allow plenty of time to get through security when heading into the stadium. Note that Levi's Stadium follows NFL rules and policies, including the NFL bag policy, which is more restrictive than regular Stanford season games. Review the stadium security policies prior to the game to determine permitted and prohibited items inside the stadium.

Stanford Athletics has worked with the Pac-12 and Levi's Stadium to secure a large block of seats together, including many premium sideline and club locations. Football Season Ticket Members can secure seats in these dedicated Stanford sections by signing into your Athletics ticketing account and completing the Pac-12 Football Championship Game Application. Click here to complete your application before the deadline of November 30 at 5 p.m. PT.

All season ticket members who complete a Pac-12 Football Championship Game application are guaranteed to receive the number of tickets that they request in the Stanford section (up to ten). However, we may not be able to fulfill all requests for club or sideline seats, and will then seat your order in the next best available location. Completing the Pac-12 Football Championship Game ticket application obligates you to buying the tickets that you are eventually assigned (there are no refunds). Seat locations will be determined based on your level of engagement with Stanford.

Tickets in the dedicated Stanford section are sold out. You may still purchase tickets through Ticketmaster here.

Tickets will be emailed to all buyers who select print at home delivery on Wednesday, December 2. A valid email address will be necessary to receive your tickets if you select print at home delivery.

If you would like to purchase a parking pass ahead of Saturday's game, you may purchase directly from Ticketmaster at this link.

Current Stanford students: Students tickets for the Pac-12 Football Championship Game are now sold out.

Stanford Athletics will send a Deferred Bowl Game Ticket Application to the following individuals:

  • 2015 football season ticket members
  • Lifetime donors to Stanford Athletics of $100,000 or more
  • Academic year 2014-15 Buck/Cardinal Club donors of $1,000 or more

These individuals will receive Deferred Bowl Game Ticket Applications via email the week of November 23 and may request bowl game tickets by completing their applications before the deadline of December 7 at 5 p.m. PT . On your application, you must indicate how many tickets you would like to purchase for each bowl game that Stanford may qualify for. Seats will be allocated once the bowl is determined, and your credit card will be charged at that time. If tickets are available, you are obligated to purchase any tickets you requested for the game Stanford is selected to play in.

If Stanford is selected to a more desirable bowl game, such as the Rose Bowl Game or College Football Playoff Game(s), the number of tickets requested by Stanford fans may exceed the number of available tickets. Teams who participate in the College Football Playoff semifinals have access to only 12,500 tickets, and will receive far more demand than they can satisfy.  We will accommodate as many Stanford fans as we can, but it is possible that not all fans will receive tickets or that some fans will receive fewer tickets than were requested.

As a result, there will be lower request limits for games of higher interest on the deferred bowl application. In some cases there may not be enough tickets for everyone who requests tickets to receive them. Confirmation that your request has been received does not mean that a sale is final or that tickets are guaranteed.

Current Stanford students:

Bowl ticket information will be communicated to students via email and updated here after bowl selections are announced on December 6.

Each postseason game allocates a fixed number of tickets in predetermined locations to both of the participating institutions. Depending on the game, prime seat locations (such as seats at midfield or in a club level) may or may not be part of the ticket package offered to Stanford. In addition to providing tickets for the two participating institutions, bowl organizations are also committed to making tickets available for annual subscribers in the local community and corporate sponsors.

Stanford allocates its postseason tickets and seat locations based on the degree to which each ticket purchaser engages with the university . Financial support for Stanford and the athletics program is critical to helping the Cardinal compete for postseason berths and win championships. Other forms of engagement, such as season ticket purchases and volunteer service, are also important.

Accordingly, given the quantity and location limitations of our assigned allotment of tickets, we use a fair and established system for assigning seats that considers engagement with Stanford during the seating process. We are extremely grateful for all of the support that Stanford Athletics receives, and we wish to recognize this during an event that is made possible because of alumni and fan support and engagement.

Similar to previous years, the number of tickets fulfilled and seat locations within Stanford’s ticket allotment will be assigned according to the customer’s level of engagement with the university and stated price level preference (subject to availability). The following criteria, not necessarily in this order, will determine seat location for postseason games:

Annual gifts to the Buck/Cardinal Club
Years of season ticket purchases in all season-ticketed sports
Total lifetime giving to Stanford Athletics
Total lifetime giving to Stanford University
Bequest intentions to Stanford Athletics
Volunteer service on an athletics or university board
Stanford alumnus/a
Former Stanford student-athlete

If you have purchased tickets from Stanford before, it is important that you sign in using your existing ticket account information upon receipt of the deferred bowl game ticket application so we can give proper credit for your engagement with Stanford during the seating process . Fans who need help retrieving their login information can call (800)-STANFORD to speak with a Stanford Athletics representative.

Seat locations are assigned according to the purchaser’s level of engagement with Stanford. Due to the high volume of ticket requests, and the small window of time in which seating will need to be assigned, it is not be possible to accommodate requests for groups from different orders to be seated together.

For current Stanford students who want to sit together, further details will be provided at a later date.

Should Stanford participate in a bowl game that is expected to sell out, there will be a limit on the number of tickets that may be requested by each customer. Any request limits will be included in the Deferred Bowl Game Ticket Application.
