LOS ANGELES – Stanford tied or set season bests in each event to earn a season-best 197.400 and the victory Sunday against No. 7 UCLA and No. 10 Georgia.

The Cardinal went 49.250 or higher in each event and registered meet-best scores on bars (49.525) and beam (49.375) to defeat the Bruins (196.825) and the Bulldogs (197.025). Stanford's score of 197.400 is its highest since March 2, 2015, when the Cardinal posted a 197.525 against Washington.

Seven Stanford gymnasts combined for nine top-five finishes. Elizabeth Price won the all-around, tying her career best of 39.675. She also tied for the individual win on bars (9.975), placed second on vault (9.975) and tied for fourth on floor (9.900).

Ivana Hong tied for second on bars (9.925), tied for eighth on beam (9.850) and made her season debut on vault with a 9.850.

Dare Maxwell and Danielle McNair scored season bests of 9.875 on bars to tie for fifth. Taylor Rice also tied for fifth on bars with a 9.875 and contributed a 9.850 on floor.

Melissa Chuang and Rachel Daum both went 9.925 on beam to tie for third. It was Chuang’s third score of 9.900 or higher in the event this year, while Daum continues her ascension in high scores after missing the early part of the season due to injury.

Elizabeth Price finished second on vault with a huge yurchenko double full to score 9.975.

Stanford got off to a strong start on beam with a season-best 49.375. The Cardinal’s performance was particularly impressive considering it suffered a fall early in the lineup, increasing the pressure on the remaining gymnasts.

Stanford continued its strong start to the meet on floor, tying its season high of 49.250. Price led Stanford with a 9.900 and was followed by Spector with a 9.875. Rice (9.850), Daum (9.825) and Chuang (9.800) each contributed scores of 9.800 or higher.

Stanford held the lead at the midway point of the meet with a 98.625, followed by UCLA (98.400) and Georgia (98.325).

The Cardinal faced some adversity on vault but battled through it to produce a season-best 49.250. Price wowed the crowd with an outstanding yurchenko double full to score 9.975. Hong made her season debut on vault in the anchor position and scored 9.850.

Nicolette McNair (9.850), Rice (9.800) and Chuang (9.775) also contributed scores in the event.

Stanford capped its afternoon with an outstanding rotation on bars scoring a season-best 49.525. All six gymnasts scored 9.850 or higher, including five of 9.875 or better.
