It’s that time of week again Stanford softball fans!

The Battle of the Bay is complete and it came with many surprises. One of which included an oversized head of our own CLee being displayed in the stands by some of her dorm friends.

Another surprise was that the crazy Stanford band showed up. For those of you who do not know, the band is famous for being absolutely absurd in every way. Members range from a girl in a dancing tree costume to a shirtless man playing a sink like you would play drums, and pretty much everything in between.

In addition to the band I also got to enjoy some quality time with my 9-year-old cousin Cameron who made his first trip to Stanford this weekend all the way from Columbus, Ohio.

Here is the little stud himself on our tour of Alcatraz.

At Alcatraz we got to be criminals for a day …

Its not the worst place to be stuck in prison. We enjoyed the views.

The fun did not stop here. While in San Francisco I had to take him to every 9-year-olds’ paradise … Ghirardelli Square.

So many choices he wanted them all.

It’s not a trip to Ghirardelli without some ice cream. Here are some before and after pictures …

Cameron enjoyed watching our games in his new Stanford wardrobe. He was decked out head to toe in Stanford gear for every game and won “Fan of the Game” not once but twice on the weekend. Pretty impressive little guy.

Here he is with some of his winnings from being Fan of the Game.

Everyone welcomed Cameron this weekend and made it an experience he will never forget. I am very grateful to have such great teammates and coaches that serve as my “family” here at Stanford.

Theresa was on her “A” game this weekend with the crafts. She gets 10 out of 10 for both style and creativity.

Well that’s a wrap for this week Stanford fans. The team heads to Arizona State this weekend to the home state of our own Kayla Bonstrom. My guess is that the “Bontourage” will be in attendance at the games and we hope you guys can make it out to some games as well.

Until next time,
