He was second on the team with a career-high five home runs and five stolen bases (5-for-5 on steal attempts). He was also third on the team with 21 walks.

In three years at Stanford, Klein has played 133 games in a Cardinal uniform. He has racked up 75 hits, including 16 doubles, one triple and six home runs. He has 43 RBI and eight stolen bases.

Klein was the fourth Cardinal selected in the 2016 MLB Draft.
