STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford will face Miami on Thursday, Nov. 24 at 11:30 a.m. PT in the opening round of the 2016 Advocare Invitational at the HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports, ESPN Events announced Friday.
The 11th annual tournament, which will take place Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 24-27 (off day on Nov. 26), in Orlando, Florida will feature the Cardinal, along with Miami, Gonzaga, Florida, Iowa State, Indiana State, Seton Hall and Quinnpiac.
The bracket-format tournament features 12 games over three days. Teams will compete once per day, advancing with a victory. The two teams that remain undefeated will face off in the championship game on Sun., Nov. 27, at 1:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Stanford and Miami last met in the finals of the 2015 postseason NIT in New York, where the Cardinal captured the NIT title with a 66-64 overtime victory over the Hurricanes.
