European Tour

STANFORD, Calif. - Members and coaches of the Stanford men's volleyball team embark on a foreign tour which will take them to five countries in a two-week span, Aug. 24 - Sept. 6. The Cardinal will play at least five matches on the tour.

The team flies into Venice, Italy on Aug. 24 and will make its way to Galzignano for the night. After a day in Verona, the Cardinal will play its first match on Aug. 26 against Padova A1, a team featuring recent graduate and 2016 MPSF Player of the Year James Shaw. 

Stanford will then travel to Slovenia to take on its Junior National Team on Aug. 27. A day trip to Croatia will be followed by an off-day in Slovenia, and then four nights in Maribor, Slovenia. The trip will wrap-up with a day trip to Vienna, Austria and then three nights in Prague, Czech Republic before flying back to the states on Sept. 6.
