ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Stanford finished sixth this past weekend in a strong field at the Navy Fall Women's Regatta, hosted by the United States Naval Academy.
Stanford was consistent across the board, finishing in the top seven in all three divisions. Senior skipper Maeve White and junior skipper Julia Lambert guided Stanford to sixth place in the A-division with freshman crew Madeline Bubb and sophomore crew Meg Gerli.
In the B-division, sophomore skipper Mimi El-Khazindar and junior crew Elena VandenBerg sailed all 14 races for the Cardinal, finishing sixth.
Junior Haley Fox represented Stanford in the singlehanded C-division, finishing seventh.

The previous weekend, the Cardinal competed in multiple regattas on either side of the country. Stanford finished fourth at the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference Match Race Championship in San Diego. Junior skipper Luke Muller, senior crew J.P. Cannistraro, freshman crew Jacob Rosenberg and VandenBerg represented the Cardinal.
At the Danmark Trophy in New London, Connecticut, Stanford finished 11th in the 20-team field. Junior crew Will La Dow and sophomore crew Kathryn Booker led the Cardinal with a fourth-place finish in the A-division, while senior Reinier Eenkema van Dijk and freshman crew Taylor Kirkpatrick finished 16th in the B-division.
Stanford returns to action this weekend when it travels to two regattas – the Truxton Umstead Regatta in Annapolis, Maryland, and the Stoney Burke Regatta in San Francisco. Live results will be available at GoStanford.com.
