Collins Earns Pac-12 Honor

STANFORD, Calif. – Averie Collins was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week, as announced Tuesday by the conference.

The sophomore striker recorded her first career brace in a 3-2 victory at Oregon State this past Friday. Collins scored her second goal of the match with two seconds remaining in regulation to secure the road win.

Collins doubled her season total in goals against the Beavers and now has a single-season career-high four goals. She has come on strong in recent weeks, scoring all four of her goals in the past six games and providing a dangerous presence in the final third.
