STANFORD, Calif. – Freshman Andrea Lee has been selected the Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Month for October, the conference announced Monday.
The Hermosa Beach, California product posted a win in her first tournament for Stanford at the Windy City Collegiate in Chicago. She closed with a 5-under 67, capped by a 20-foot birdie putt at the final hole, and finished with a 54-hole score of 10-under 206.
Lee backed it up with a tie for second at the rain-shortened Stanford Intercollegiate at Stanford Golf Course, where she recorded scores of 72-68 to finish at 2-under 140.
Last week, Lee tied for 23rd at the Pac-12 Preview in Hawaii.
In three starts, she averaged a team-best 71.62 for the third-ranked Cardinal.
Lee is ranked the No. 2 women's college player in the country by Golfstat and No. 7 in the Women's World Amateur Rankings.
