The Road Ahead

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford will play host to three dual meets as part of a 10-meet regular season schedule before hosting the Pac-12 Championships on March 18, as announced Tuesday by the conference.
 
Stanford will be featured on the Pac-12 Network six times during the 2017 season, including all four home competitions.
 
The season begins Jan. 9 at the NorCal Classic hosted by California. The Cardinal will take on the Golden Bears, Sacramento State, San Jose State and UC Davis.
 
Stanford's first home meet will be Jan. 29 against Arizona. The Cardinal will remain on The Farm, playing host to Washington the following weekend on Feb. 5.
 
Stanford will celebrate its seniors Feb. 24 in its final regular-season home meet against Oregon State.
 
The Cardinal hits the road the following two weeks with matchups at Utah (March 3) and George Washington (March 10) before returning home to host the Pac-12 Championships. It is the first time Stanford has hosted the conference championships since 2009 when the Cardinal finished third.
 
Stanford will pursue its 34th consecutive NCAA Regionals appearance, which will take place April 1, and its 14th NCAA Championships appearance in the past 17 years (April 14-15).
 
The Cardinal is coming off of a 2016 season in which it competed in its ninth NCAA Championships in the past 10 years and 16th overall, tied for the highest score at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional and picked up four regular season wins against NCAA Championships teams.
