Two Pac-12 Awards for Plummer

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford outside hitter Kathryn Plummer has been selected the Pac-12 Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week, the conference announced today.

Plummer led Stanford offensively to a pair of road sweeps at Arizona State and Arizona last week, averaging a team-best 4.67 kills and 5.17 points per set. She hit a combined .333 in the two matches while also collecting 2.83 digs and 0.50 blocks per set.

At ASU, the Aliso Viejo, California native registered a match-high 13 kills on a .360 attack percentage to go with seven digs, three blocks and an ace. At Arizona, she recorded her team-best eighth double-double with a match-high 15 kills on .312 hitting and 10 digs.

It marks the third freshman of the week honor for Plummer and the 20th all-time for the Cardinal, which is the most in the conference. It is the first offensive honor for the rookie and the 100th player of the week all-time for Stanford.

Stanford closes out Pac-12 Conference play this week, hosting No. 19 Oregon on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. and Bay Area rival California on Friday, Nov. 25 at 5 p.m. Cardinal seniors, Inky Ajanaku and Kelsey Humphreys, will be recognized before the match on Friday.
